Using drones in war makes it safer for humans as they will not be risking their lives on the battlefield, however, this is only in the countries that have money. Poor countries will not have access to these highly equipped drones so they may rely more on humans. This idea gamifies war somehow as it makes it very similar to video games which makes me even more suspicious, what if video games were actually trainings for “soldiers to be ” to use the new technology? Children may actually become soldiers and very good ones too.

Stereotypes and movies
Movies may carve certain stereotypes in children’s subconscious that may affect their thoughts when they’re older. The movie terminator made me have this almost definite belief that robots are the thing that is going to end us not help us. Up until now this idea still lurks in my head.
Culture
How can people with various and different cultures exist in AUC which is relatively a small environment. Imagine the number and diversity of cultures that would exist in Egypt, what is mind blowing about this is that with all these different cultures and ethnic backgrounds people are able to live together in a way.
The Changing Definition of Slavery
After the documentary that we watched and how children were being enslaved and forced to work in unhealthy conditions that later cause them to have health conditions and have a life expectancy of 32 years. I asked myself is this humane and this made me realize the gigantic effect that money plays in our lives. Money and profit actually blinded people to the extent that they were too blind to see that they were living in a wicked society where big fish eat and small ones. Whose fault is it, is capitalism to be blamed or is this the human nature? I really don’t know, but what I know is that this enslavement occurs nowadays but in a different light. I can’t find the difference between working for no wage and working so hard for so little. We are now slaves to contracts that we sign with factories, businesses, schools, sports clubs, and the list goes on. These contracts bind us to business owners and turn us into slaves to a certain extent.
Golem the Movie
The movie Golem was able to show the degree to which people long for the ability to create life and the degree to which they love their creation. Hana loved the golem that she created as a son and wasn’t able to kill it until she saw the destruction and chaos that he caused. However, this is a new idea of golem that is not exactly similar to the one we read about where the golem was basically responsible for house chores and wasn’t able to get out of the house, this version of golem resembles more household AI. However, the new idea of the golem demonstrated in the movie resembles the terminator in a sense!
Speculations about alchemy
People used to call anyone who was able to make a breakthrough in any field of science as a sorcerer and it was labeled as an evil thing or a demonic process. Maybe “sorcerers” were actually scientists but people were too ignorant so they called them sorcerers instead of calling them smart. Maybe this kind of knowledge was preserved and only certain people were allowed access as knowledge is power and may be dangerous in the wrong hands, a modern example of this is Noble’s dynamite which was invented to benefit people and make mining for minerals easier and then was used in warfare to kill people.
Machines
Kings managed to use machines to torment and kill “criminals” in bizarre ways just for their amusement! The irony lies in the fact that most useful machines that we use nowadays to benefit the society such as car produce pollution that will someday make the earth uninhabitable and to add some science-fiction, the rich will fly with rockets to other planets leaving the poor to die miserably and suffer while they’re at it.
